Fairly well argued, but the result is quagmire. It's not a victory in terms of overthrowing their government, it's a blow the shit out of them and hope for the best plan. That's never worked in the region for very long.
Neither one of us knows what the actual plan is.

It could be a quagmire or it could be a raging success or so thing in between but I doubt it’ll be as bad as the invasion of Iraq.

CSB Tim. I was in Germany in 2003 and put into a slot doing indications and warnings re Iraq and the plans to send an Army Division through Turkey into northern Iraq. Turkey eventually told the U.S. to pound sand.

While in that position I saw a planning document for the invasion that was set up in 4 phases, with the 4th phase being the occupation.

Phases 1-3 were so incredibly detailed. I’m talking about the exact time at which the first and last vehicles would be driven off ships in port.

I opened the tab for phase 4 and it was simple: TBD

I have a feeling that whatever plan we have for Iran is going to be much than what we had for Iraq.

"Our country is doing really well. I mean, at a level that nobody thought. We took a little excursion because we felt like we had to do that to get rid of some evil. I think you’ll see it’s going to be a short-term excursion."

He went from unconditional surrender to a "little excursion" in under a week.
Yet again, you need to understand Trump’s negotiations strategy. Ask for everything when you only need 50-75% of the total. End up with 85% and win. The guys been doing that for a long damn time.

Well, nobody does that in war. It used to be to win you chop off the head of the king. That's unconditional surrender. You can't water down unconditional surrender like this:

In a briefing at the White House, the press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, is asked about President Trump’s shifting definitions of victory in the war with Iran. She said Trump would be the one to decide whether one of the conditions he has laid out — Iran’s “unconditional surrender” — has been met.

“When President Trump says that Iran is in a place of unconditional surrender, he’s not claiming the Iranian regime is going to come out and say that themselves,” she said.

We were told the war was nearly complete, we had unlimited supplies, and Iran was in shambles. The administration wouldn't be lying to us, would they, lad?

South Korea is pissed. I'll let you stew on why that might be.
Sk will be fine.... rocketing isn't dumb...
But there is nothing wrong with making sure that the active war is covered
