Official Iran conflict game thread.

I don't see how this "send in the Kurds" plan will work. True, the government is weakened, but if the Kurds rise up in rebellion it will just unite the Iranians against them, meaning it's easier for the evil regime to stay in place. I think our government fancies the idea of using them as the invading force in absence of real invasion plan. But it sounds like to just cause more chaos.

That's magnanimous. Now the next problem is UAE is running out of defense crap to shoot down the drones.
The gulf blockade will likely bring Iran down faster. The gulf countries and China aren’t going to be impressed. That was always the irony with Iran’s only real leverage point.
That's really not our problem aside from hurt feelings. Gulf producers getting shut in is a lot less important to an energy indepent US than it is to China and other major importers of Iranian oil like Pakistan.

Saudi Arabia needs to start acting like the regional power and handle the ground game but of course Saudis are Sunni and Persians are Shia so that won’t work for that fucked up religion

Iraq the only other regional Shia majority country so I guess let’s see how important 1980 is to these fuckers. I

The southwest part is basically a giant swamp until you get to the mountains. Saddam tried going in there first and it didn’t work. Ground invasion is a really bad idea for anyone.

Lots of shitty arguments being made on Twitter. One of them is that Iran is saving their best stuff for later. Their launchers are getting fucked up left and right, and every new one that pops up is easier to spot now.
Same as Russia saving the his stuff for after the initial waves.
