They're hitting the bridges and rail lines that connect into Tehran now, they're doing the infrastructure demolishing that prevents large movement of people into the capital, so they can't re-enforce against opposition.
They're hitting Kharg and the oil infrastructure now too. Controlling the money and removing the capacity to pay soldiers.
Power grids and banking will be the last to be hit before regime change occurs, parliament will be the symbolic hit.
Looks like the decision was made to begin the process of setting the stage for complete regime change rather than negotiations with the regime itself. The hardliners are clearly still in control, does someone who wants to survive come through, or not. Enough of them have died we might see split of the IRGC soon and their position on how to deal with it. Those who aren't crazy will want to settle asap.
