It's going to be 3-4 years before we are able to put a team without major compromises on the field.

I'm doogish that we can have kinda a team right now. But it will take years to reduce these drippings into a real sauce.

That's the troof too. Starting with this year's recruiting class. Solid. Now take 2-3 years for the class to develop and hit the field .

By that time if we suck then it's on the coaches.

But we won't have to deal with midget secondary players who have athletic ability but can't compete because they are 5'7".

We won't have to deal with players that can't seal off or at least hold the edge because they get blown off their blocks.

We won't have linebackers who can't flow to the ball and make a tackle.

Like that Barkley run. #7 stumbled into his own player and is unable to meet Barkley at the point of contact and Barkley is off to a 92 run touchdown.

Any weak players cannot uphold their responsibility and the defense breaks down.

Against okay competition we look like world beaters but against elite competition we shrivel up.
