How is this on coaching? Uw is

-starting 3rd string freshman QB

-starting our OLB at RB because 1-4 RB's suck and are injured.

-starting a 2nd string 280lb freshman at RT. Would be no more than 3rd string on most teams.

-starting a 2nd string 2* nobody at LG in place of arguably our best OL (Charles)

Compounding things is we are playing in 50 mph monsoon winds and sideways rain.

What should smith be doing? Our OL cant block more than 1 second. We have no RB's. Williams is shaky and struggling with confidence. Our WR's cant catch and have no balls to stay in bounds for extra yards.

This is 100% on sark. How after 5 years of recruiting UW is starting a OLB at RB and freshman at QB?

Wow, just wow. So none of this is on Petersen? We should have the worst offense in the conference? When the RB's were healthy they sucked. Shaq is better than those guys. Everyone cried about Miles. He's way, way better than Williams. The OL has a ton of experience. Petersen's offense have been dreck 3 straight seasons. Have some expectations and standards.

Miles in his worst game against Stanford was way better than Williams. That's how bad Williams is. It's obvious. He stares down his WR's the whole time. He's got a good arm, but that's it.

Actually BSU's "dreck" offense last season was:

21st in the nation in yards per game

20th in the nation in points per game

That's the worst offense CP has had at BSU. His FLOOR is a top 25 offense.

BTW BSU scored 14 points in a loss to Air Force a couple weeks ago. That's the least amount of points BSU has scored in the MWC in almost a decade. They returned their starting senior QB, 1400 all league RB, and top 2 record setting WR's. Sounds like CP wasn't the problem. HTH

6 points against UW. They sucked. I remember a 7-6 game agaist BYU too. Their offense in 2012 was even worse.

Petersen deserves blame for the offense and credit to this very good defense. They are playing incredible tonight.

I like Petersen. For an offensive coach, he deserves a lot of blame though. That is his forte.

Not scoring an offensive TD by the 4th quarter against a dreckfest defense should never be accepted.
