CFP was a pipe dream
Good to dream big but we had no shot. We had a shot to win the pac-12, which in and of itself for this team would have been a miracle season. This weather played right into the huskies strength. They will put us against UCF in a new years six bowl and that game will be a shoot out.

As much as UW fans want to believe they are upper echelon, they are not.[/b] They are cream of the crop in a conference that eats its own year after year. USC is the only school that can pull the type of recruits that you can develop into top tier talent to go after Bama and Clemson. Those two schools are showing how its done with recruiting and development and making it work. I dont know if they can keep it up year after year, but they are doing pretty good so far. So if he is cool with making the CFP once ever 5-6 years maybe? because USC is down then I guess its a good career.

UW will have a down year and we will catch them. Again the conditions have to be favorable for us and Peterson has to have a turn over in staff. If Peterson wants a shot at a national title he is gonna have to jump to USC. UW will never have the personnel to match up with BAMA or Clemson. It all depends on what he wants out of his career.

He is a great coach. He wont ever win a National title at UW no matter how much their fan base puts faith in him. Bama and Clemson are showing how to recruit and develop and no one is doing it better. [/b]If he wants a National title he is gonna have to jump ship to a blue blood program. UW got into the CFP with their most talented team and they still got beat. They might make it again in a year or two but they still wont win.
