It might not be as far fetched as you thought between the Big 12 and Big 10. Both are complete dreckfests. The Big 10 at least has been competitive so far besides Illinois.

Looking at the rest of the games: Ole Miss vs TCU : TCU, but I won't be at all surprised if Ole Miss wins. Ole Miss' offense is dreck though.

Baylor vs Michigan State: I think Michigan State wins this one. This game is the barometer for the conferences.

Kansas State vs UCLA: UCLA wins rather easily.

Oklahoma State vs UW: UW wins rather easily.

The morale of this is the Big 12 really, really sucks.
 
It's always special when you can go 2-6 in conference and still win a bowl game against Texas in Texas.

I try not to deal in hypotheticals, but I wonder if Arkansas would have started slow in Pac-12 play as well. Either way... Solid team that improved over the course of the season. Texas looks like they hired the wrong coach.

Up vote for the last part, but Arkansas doesn't have the QB to win the South. They are like a shittier version of Stanford.
 
At least the Texas offense should be well rested to walk to the bus after the game (which I'm guessing is a further walk than the 25 yards they have currently travelled for the game)
 
Not a good day when 3 teams in the same conference, all 3 having winning records all go down, with 2 being complete plunger rapes
 
In fairness I think West Virginia wins their game if Trickett didn't have to retire due to concussions.

Oklahoma no-showed their game.

Arkansas is far better at the little offense and lots of defense game than Texas is.

Jesus. Arkie is 4-5 in the Pac 12 South. Maybe 5-4 if they had a favorable schedule that avoided Oregon and Stanford or us.
