Not every handoff is a zone read. Fuck, every negative play some of you whine about Miles not keeping it.

The play got blew up because Tanigawa got blown up. You don't read the DT anyways on a zone read.

On that play your are right, but there are a lot of plays where the QB actually does read the DT in that offense. During the Chip days, that was one of the staples of his run game.
