I actually think they will turn it around and make the next round.

I got a kick of the Belgian coach saying "Italy didn't play real football" in criticism of their counterattacking style. No, you got out coached and were too stupid to know that Italy has always played that way.
 
Italy's underachieved for a few years, so it might just be their time to come around.

I don't think this is their year. They are missing their playmakers in Pirlo, Verratti, and Marchisio. They won't beat good teams like Germany and Spain. However, I picked them above Belgium because they are a matchup nightmare for a team like that. Belgium lacks the discipline to play with a team like Italy that will pick you apart on the counter.
