Sorry you didn't get the opportunity to talk shit but when my team loses I prefer to be an adult and remove myself from the constant negativity on the boards, especially when I'm on vacation. College football is not so important to me that I allow it to negatively affect my mood.

When you are put in a position of need, you have to do what you can. If by some miracle, Oregon does get this kid, I would call that a pretty smart move on their part. Getting a playmaker on the D-line is worth using a scholly on a less touted kid. Pete wouldn't do it, but that doesn't mean it's wrong. Having a playmaker like this on the D-line in the Pac 12 is a complete game changer.
