Yeah, worth a read if you want a word salad of excuses for Hamas. Israel left Gaza in 2005 and left them to self-govern. They did. And Hamas wants dead Jews and driven into the sea. The only problem with Gaza is that the Jews built a wall and for some reason want to limit the amount of missiles and arms smuggled in to kill Jews. If Gaza wanted decent living conditions they would have had peace with Israel and built a functioning non-corrupt society with a healthy tourism industry. They didn't. They choose eternal war. Now they reap what they sow.

You can't. And you shouldn’t. Their environment is antithetical to the human condition. Violent rebellion is guaranteed. Guaranteed. As sure as the sun rising.

He spends a lot of time on many factors and pretty much avoids the one factor that matters most, which is that Muslim populations in that region largely would like to see the Jews wiped off the face of the Earth. There is no solution which will resolve that underlying factor. All of the other things play a part, but you could resolve every other concern he writes about and there still would not be peace because the extremist zealots want to kill the Jews and society in those countries seem to be perfectly fine with that.
