OC position

Cowboys are hiring Mike McCarthy. Jerry probably wants him to retain Moore but he will want to bring in his own guys. Either way it'll be interesting.

McCarthy is an offensive coach already and will surely bring in his own guys. Moore’s gone. The only thing with Moore is other NFL teams would probably want him, but he also hasn’t been around for long so he doesn’t have very many connections. Coaches hire their buddies.
 
Kellen needs to be like “deuces”. Jerry is a toxic owner. You have good options that don’t involve his tantrums

It’s not like Jerry is the only dumbass in the NFL. Most people like working for the Cowboys. Being a head coach is probably rough tho because Jerry meddles so much.

I think the only logical conclusion is that they are waiting to see if Kellen Moore is retained in Dallas. It’s the only thing that makes sense, Jimmy knows who is guy is and is hoping he is available soon. Seems like a big gamble on a basically unknown college coaching commodity, but I’ll trust Jimmy’s judgement until he proves to be Sark 2.0.

See I am just going to assume Jimmy is Sark 2.0 until he proves he's not. We're different different.

This. The coaches convention is this weekend and the recruiting dead period ends the following weekend. I expect the hire to be announced within 10 days. If it goes past that then there is some reason for concern.
