Will LSU drop far enough in the rankings? If not, Georgia needs to not fuck around.

ACC is a 1-bid team with Clemson's loss, but would be nice to see them fall below us.

Penn State is our biggest competition right now as a team waiting around.

Thread probably a little premature until the rankings come out. You always have to look in front and behind.

FSU beating Florida is problematic and might fuck us, ND and UNC losing relieves some pressure. Not worried if Utah temporarily jumps ahead because they need to lose the champ game anyways for this to work.

Not only did LSU lose, but their top 10 win against Ole Miss is gone with Kiffin getting Leached. Clemson's ND loss also looks worse. Oregon win looks shittier for us, but Beav will make a nice jump to offset.

What's terrifying is this team is a win against an ASU backup QB from playing for a playoff spot. Yikes.

The rankings don’t matter as much this year. Kansas State is going to the Sugar Bowl. It’s the year when the two semis do not have conference affiliations, so the ones that do are going to replace their champs which they lost to the playoffs. If the conference champ games are chalk, you’re talking 2 spots to fill based on rankings. Which based on last week would be Tennessee and Penn State, assuming LSU falls behind them.

If USC loses we need to be ahead of PSU/Tenn (or USC) If LSU or Purdue wins we need to be ahead of both of them.
