Confederate Flag.

Two boys walk into an after hour school event with a confederate flag around their shoulders.

The principal says:

"The African-American students who immediately saw it really exercised heroic restraint and fortunately a teacher immediately confiscated the flag and took the students out of the gym,” Cregan said.

He also said this regarding free speech:

“I certainly think this particular symbol of hate falls in the category of something that should be excised from our culture,” he said.

I'm glad one man takes it upon himself to decide what is hate, and what should be excised from our culture.

Praise Be To Allah for the heroic restraint of a civilized nation who allows free speech.
 
So if a Muslim girl wears a headdress, is that hate speech too? What about a T-shirt with a muslim crescent on it? What about FUBU wear?

I don't have one in my house but the Confederate Flag is a part of our history. And you better believe that the North (including New York) also had slaves...they just got rid of the practice by late 1700's / 1800's.

And why do most people forget that West Africans were complicit in the slave trade? How do people think the slaves made it from the interior of Africa to the Ports so that they could be bought, shipped to the South, and then resold at a much higher price?

People forget the slaves had to beat the West Africans for the slave gold medal.

It's only hate speech if it has to do to the Confederate Flag and Christianity. Everything else is fine because we need to be diverse and have open minds to everyone elses beliefs and religions.
