Falsifying business records to cover up another crime had been a felony in NY since the 1950s, Gasbag. The Republicans used to be opposed to it. Back then.
 
It was the mystery federal felony election crime that wasn't part of the court evidence or jury instructions submitted by the state and wasn't part of any of the misdemeanor NY crimes that the jury voted on which requires a unanimous verdict
 
Sounds like he didn’t get due process on that mystery crime.

The jury was instructed on the predicate crimes. The jury instructions are online; this isn’t a debatable point. Similarly, the prosecution doesn’t dictate what the instructions will be—Daddy was represented at trial, you may recall.
