there was a period when the ryzen shit came out that amd was dope. I still have my pc from late 2019 which has been running strong for the occasional game but now that I got the 4k monitor I’ll have to upgrade this year. Problem is I only play like 2 games a year and otherwise I like my MacBook for programming and such
Once Mac came out with the m chips and everything else also got expensive it was a no brainer.
Interested to see how everyone else will compete. Supposedly the new arm chips are coming out for other manufacturers
Everything got fast enough that if you have enough memory and good battery life you’re pretty much okay laptop wise. Had to go to 32 gb for my work one since it’s windows and I have to run fucking wsl to do anything

Which stock are you referring to sir? NVDA has been gradually moving and had what I believe was a 6-1 split in the middle of that. It ran into a hiccup during the Covid time but I wasn’t weak to drop it then because I knew it would go back up.
So yes, I did hold onto my stocks for 5 years.
