Exactly. One of my portfolios is just an S&P 500 index fund. Average return since inception is over 11% I believe. Why pay a broker?

I’m just surprised because I’ve never really heard anyone talk much about the Dow when discussing people’s personal investments.
I’ve always been under the impression 99 percent of people are mostly in index funds that track the SP500 and then some form of international or bonds or whatever to diversify beyond that if feeling spicy.
Do they even have ones that are just Dow companies? Why would you lol
