The purpose of the gas tax is to make people uncomfortable. Not something we should have to deal with. The LTC payroll tax is even more egregious. It's unconstitutional, and the premise is that 7 out of 10 people will need to live in a nursing home. In a state like Washington, the progressives in charge were able to push these through quite easily.
I get to pay into it as a senior citizen who will never see a dime of it cutting into my take home which I use to take care of myself
