Notable programs that signed equal or fewer (??) blue chips (247 composite) than UW in 2019

LSU
Oregon
Climpson
Auburn
Tenn
Florida State
USC
Ohio St

Other than Clemson those teams are notable for being in decline

Ohio State lost the best recruiter in the game

Other than Clemson every program in the country is in decline.

But still

I believe we are now #7 in the nation in terms of star average and are tied for #3 in total number of blue chip recruits

Bama - 24
ND - 17
Georgia, Pedo St., UW - 16

Did you actually count up the 247 blue chips for each class? Via composite this isn't close.

Bama - 26
UGA - 20
Pedo - 18
Tejas/Flo Ridah - 17
Jenga/UO/Go Blue/Loy's Boys - 16
UW - 15

I know UW gets another via 247 (Cam). Do all those schools drop from Comp to 247?

I just looked at the 247 class ranking list and counted up 4 and 5 stars for each team. I believe it's just 247 rankings (which I put much more stock in). Its the ranking where Oregon is 10 and UW 11

I haven't been able to find this ranking by team, all I can find is their comp rankings. If someone can help a brother out with a link I'd love to see it.

What if Eason is actually good?

Fuck

There's no way he can be worse than Jack Cobra. Browning wold not have started at UGA as true frosh, or beat out Fromm until he got hurt. There's just no way.

Its possible. Sometimes college kids just drink and fuck off and never get better. Browning was given the job as a true freshman and never got better.

Eason didn't exactly have to beat anyone out either- that QB room was in flux before he got there and Smart wasn't tied to any of the previous QBs.

I do think Eason is going to be really good just pointing out its not a sure thing.

If Eason is good it’ll be a year of “look at the foundation browning established” because Seattle fucking hates winners

But all the blue bloods stole UWs lunch money!

This narrative is so FS. Yeah, we sucked at WR this year at TE will continue to suck on perpetuity.

The trend is clear...

4,5,7,9,10,14

I'm not good at Maff but seems like we are getting more and more BC's each year. And that's with 3 bowl losses in a row.[/b]

The Future is Bright. UW might've won 2 of those 3 games, but for a weak-armed, pants-shitting QB who couldn't react to a blitz for 4 years straight. I don't think people realize what a drag on the program he, and the lack of anyone better, has been for the UW program. But for Gaskin and having Ross & Pettis on the field in the same year, UW offense bored me to tears for 4 years. Imagine things with a QB who can actually throw a football.
