No blocked FG

People can vouch both times Coleman got caught I was distraught because I knew it meant they'd get zero points on those drives.

This isn't how life works. For all we know UW would have fumbled the ensuing snap. Everything that happens happens because of what happened before. You can't change something hypothetically and assume a different outcome because you don't know the infinite number of other possibilities.

Obviously it was a contributing factor.
As Mark Helfrich would say "It was a million little things".

Yes, we all know this. With that logic UW also could have returned the ensuing kickoff for a touchdown. It's possible if they don't block the kick he just misses it and UW gets the ball in good field position.
The reality is UW blocked a kick and it was the fucking realistic worst thing that probably could have happened there and it's so painful it's actually funny, especially since the program has really struggled to get big special teams plays since Dante Bettis was here.

It’s possible that the ball would have gone out of the stadium if UW didn’t block that kick. Unfortunately, we will never know.

Dante Bettis is the reason the Steelers were gifted the Super Bowl title over Seattle. That guy deserved that ring! Am I right?
