I have it on good authority that starters on Top 15 D1 Women's Hoops teams are getting like $400 to $500K.
Women's Hoops is the most visible NCAA chicks sport, and at some schools it's important enough that they'll buy players.
Remarkable for a non-revenue sport.

Does Title IX require equal NIL pay if done by the schools? Or are we still funding these things entirely via collectives?
Either way, pretty stupid to spend any money on women's hoops. Roll out a winless skwah and keep the money in the football program.

The toothpaste ain't going back in the tube at that point. Football players are getting paid. Other sports may take the brunt of it, the legalities will just change the process slightly.

Agree, but Title IX might disagree.

they will just make it real NIL at that point and the players will actually have to appear in ads etc… and the school won't pay them directly.
