NIL and JTT

So, I'm thinking of starting a go-fund me to pay JTT to come to Washington. If we can hand JTT $50,000 after my 15% fee for organizing we can make it contingent on him appearing for an autograph signing. Each person who donates will get one autograph on a JTT UW picture and can pay extra for him to sign a football or your girlfriend's tits.

It's an endorsement opportunity so I say it complies with the new NIL regs.

This isn't a joke....

Waiting for the big Nike deals at Oregon to drop and what the NCAA will[/s] won't do. All sorts of banners in Eugene of Oregon track athletes. Only a matter of time before they start displaying the football and hoops players go up all in the name of NIL and it's legal.

If only Herb Mead and the Husky Hunters could have lived to see this. And Don James. And Mike "Que" Lude

Men who were SERIOUS about football

I deal with Nike and they said they are cutting way back on Athlete endorsements. They're in the process of dropping between 60-80% of football and baseball players , ~50% in basketball. They won't even provide the athlete product if they would wear it for free. We're talking pros: NFL. MLB. NBA.

All Nike's marketing dollars are now concentrated on superstars and athletes with a "story": social justice and LBQT.

With this in mind, I'm waiting for the first Oregon player deals to hit. If KTibs starts taking a knee, you'll know the fix is in.

Don't forget Jim Kenyon! I miss those guys.

I have no knowledge, just impressions: Do knowledgable people believe that the vaunted Seattle-based companies will get involved in this, at all? Alaska, maybe. The rest of the blue-chippers don't seem like a fit or that they'd care.

Man, it would have been awesome to see Trey or McGary sign a deal with Wade's Guns or something.

Doubtful. Maybe if Balmer was still around. He's about the only one who showed to give a shit about sports.

There is potential but Jen Cohen is the AD
