New Uniform Game Thread

So should we expect the AD to announce some kind of new uni showcase date by now or what’s going on?

I blame Lambo (hi @puppylove_sugarsteel) for starting the downfall of the uniforms with his shitty purple helmets. Neuheisel improved the uniforms, but then we? went to the faggy piping on the shoulders after the 2000 season. The uniform got better again for a bit under Sark, before going to shit again with white pants, white helmets, etc.

Look, I'm realistic with this stuff. A little variation every now and then is good to keep a fresh look. But, I just wish they wouldn't fuck with it too much.

AD always has the final say. We’ve been over this before.

They are clueless until proven otherwise.
 
There is an adidas hoody that is like $150. I was like, who is going to pay $150 for a hoody, which by all means, didn't look to be very warm, wasn't purple, and looked like doesn't repel any water, then at the spring game I saw a dude wearing it. adidas should a make fortune off of the 'beat oregon, nothing else matters' crowd.
 
The few pieces of Adidas gear they've released for sale has looked boring/shitty/stupid as fuck.

If[/i] they have something cool, they being Adidas, I imagine they would hoard it away until they go full public with uniforms, catch phrases, branding etc. Trickle out some boring bullshit a little at a time and then blitzkrieg your west coast headliner with everything you got. Pray it's better than Fear the Fork.

Purple's don't match

Purple is the absolute toughest color to color match. When I worked at FedEx and it was always a chore to conform to corporate branding standards. Pantone is a client of my current company and they also say this. When done right, purple is a majestic color. I say this as a Vikings fan. As a Duck, I'm obligated to say I hate anything purple.
 
Adidas usually makes good stuff for soccer and hockey, but their football gear is pure AIDS. They need to hire some euro fags to fix it.
