I arrived at this bored shortly after the Oregon State game several weeks ago, curious where all the serious UW fans had relocated to after the doogman unraveling some time ago. I took IrishDawg's advice and lurked around for awhile and immensely enjoyed three weeks of unfettered glorious insight and comment, that peaked with the delirium and disbelief over dudebrah getting miraculously hired away.

I cannot begin to describe how much the content on this site has cratered since this Petersen situation. Everyone here has become a doog. With the exception of Mike Damoon who appears to be the one reasonable poster here who has held off crowning this jerk off as the next Ara Parsegian. Thanks for nothing.

Please exclude more than Damoon from your comments. Although Race is very happy, it will only take one bone-head decision to reverse everything. The same thing can be said for the vast majority in here. The assholes in here have been pissed off for 20 years, watching one idiot AD after another hire BAD coaches. For once, it appears that Pool Boy has hired an adult to coach football. Time will tell.

We have more patience than USC and ND, BUT NOT MUCH!
 
He may not be mike gundy but I think for the time being we are mostly happy to have a grown man leading the program. ( he's over 40)

Being excited about the hire is not the same thing as crowning Petersen. If Petersen shows he can't hack it with an 8-5 season next year, he will get criticized. Nothing wrong with having cautious optimism. We all thought we left for dead in the middle of the ocean, but we got thrown a life raft with a Baywatch era Pamela Anderson inside. Now, we just gotta see if the bitch can cook and gives us anal more than once a year. If she doesn't, we will be just as miserable and pathetic as we used to be.

Why would you ask such a question? Baseketball is one of the best movies of all time. I rubbed a few out to that flick in my teenage years. Neither her or Pam held up very well though. Another thing I should have considered in my analogy.

Sark leaving, in and of itself, gave me a giant boner in my sweatpants. As for Petersen....not my first choice (I think most here would agree) but I'm willing to LIFPO.
