I have always been intrigued by Issaquah's history. I took this pic at 4AM a couple of years ago. This hotel has been there since about 1910.

My dad was on one of those ships.
my Grand pappy stormed the easy beach (Utah) of Normandy. Iwo was worse than Omaha beach.
My family drove from Thompson Falls to Wallace in 1988 as a side trip. I had relatives in Noxon Montana but I don't have any blood ones left at this point. It was paved but definitely a remote road nobody takes. It was weird to see I 90 stop and turn into a street. I got scared in the tourist mine thing and my cousin made fun of me.
