I'm saying he commits to Stanford and takes a medical retirement after his freshman year. 2 years later, Nick Harris wins the Outland Trophy

The word on my street is Stanford was his school for a while. But the play of UW this year has caught his eye, making his decision more difficult. Academies are more important to him than playing in front of 70k people.
 
if he goes to Stanford now, oh well. Not much more UW could have done to change that

Exactly. When Sark was here, the "never fault a kid for going to Stanford" was an excuse for Sark being a dumbass. And smart kids seeing through that. That's not the scenario with Petersen and Fozzy.

That's the saddest thing I've heard all day.
 
If Foster Sarell still commits to Stanford.... I'm not sure what else we can do. Won the division. Won the conference. 2 starting O lineman first team all pac12 (Stanford didn't have any 1/2nd team all conference). Would instantly start at LG next year in place of Eldrenkramp, who is a perfect example of Strausser's ability to develop lineman. Then take over for Trey at LT. Browning will be here another 2 years. Every other local stud is going to be a dawg. Man, that would really sting if he choose Stanford over us. He is the extract type of guy we need to beat the Bama's and Ohio's States of the world. Come on!
