Zach Albright, a 6-foot-5, 235-pound tight end from Snohomish, became the 12th member of UW’s 2027 recruiting class Monday evening after announcing his commitment to the Huskies in a post on his social media accounts.

Albright is considered a three-star prospect, the No. 6 player in Washington, the No. 30 tight end and the No. 500 player nationally according to the 247Sports composite ratings. He held offers from California, Michigan, Minnesota, Texas A&M, Utah and Wisconsin among others.

A three-sport standout at Glacier Peak High, Albright also plays basketball and participates in track and field as a long jumper and high jumper. He’s the third local recruit to commit to the Huskies, joining Sumner High wide receiver Braylon Pope and Graham-Kapowsin High cornerback Maurice Williams.
