I have various things and pay too much for TV. But I’d rather pay more and have what I want when I want rather than fuck around and try to figure out how to watch things. I have Dish Hopper
with Sling
. I like picking up a remote and just watching shit. Plus I can watch the Pac-12 network on my iPad in the clubhouse while enjoying a hamburger with cheese.

I love capitalism when its allowed to do what it does. TV was trash before this came along IMO.
Cut the cord a few months ago. Have Prime, Hulu TV, HBO Max, Disney Plus, Netflix and Apple TV streaming. More choice than is imaginable. I like trying out weird new shit just to see if I like it. Found some real gems that way like Severance. Fuck cable.

Apple is kicking Netflix’ ass with original content. Checked out Tehran the other night and it has more potential than anything Netflix has put out In the last two years.
Prime’s originals are killing Netflix too: Same with Hulu.

Yeah, Netflix has been off for a couple of years now. Of course you have Ozark and The Witcher, and Stranger Things will be back soon, and I have also found a couple of quirky shows that were interesting like Russian Doll and the October Faction, but generally Netflix has been meh for awhile now. AppleTV has some strong offerings for a new platform. Killing it.
