Nebraska Football: 3 Things Scott Frost's Hiring Shuffle Says About His Program

Exhibit 20078 on why coaching searches are a crap shoot

Frost was a no brainer solid lock to make his old school great again. Like Harbaugh at Michigan

Or not

It is the main reason I don't freak out about Jimmy. He could suck or he could be great but the search or lack of and the experience of being a head coach or not is all meaningless

Win or get the fuck out

There is not one coach outside of Urban Meyer, that can revive Nebraska from the dead.

Peterman could do for Nebraska what he did for Washington. He would just hate every minute of it.

does the big 10 have a vegas bowl tie in? if not, cant see him going there.

Were there any red flags to think he'd suck?

I know on the asu site the editor was saying he had heard concerns about Chip Kelly not hiring good people or caring about recruiting was a big flag

Eh, I think he was pretty well thought of at Oregon and he did pretty well at UCF. You have to be able to coach to fix 0wen Twelve and go 13-0 in just two seasons, I don't care where you are.

I also recall, at least generally, that he helped pick up the slack as a recruiter at Oregon because Kelly was so fucking lazy in that area.
