NCAA Says No Recruiting and Some Schools Are Ignoring This

this is such a great example of how we will always fall short...the whole 'do it the right way' angle just doesn't work in the NCAA where vague, unenforced rules only self-apply to altruistic institutions who are striving to win Sustainability Awards and then naively curious about the reason they don't make enough money.

look at Rachael Doyle, our fan engagement person, who has tweeted maybe 2-3 times in the last 4 months and those tweets are excited comments about Oregon uniforms and shit not related to UW or its fans. The AD is not doing its job.
 
Pete was an old, moral, “the rules are the rules” type of guy. Hopefully Jimmy realizes they are bullshit, most unenforceable, and bends them when needed.

The only scary part for him is you know Cohen will fold right away if anything hits the fan. If you fight the NCAA, they normally can’t do shit. Bill Self, Sean Miller, and others were caught red handed and nothing happened. It’s the same with the SEC and others in football. They know the NCAA won’t do shit.

Bama can do whatever they want. The last thing the powers that be want is Alabama being irrelevant and off of TV.

If the Pac 12 had any balls, they would protect USC, UW, and Oregon at all costs. The conference is worthless after those three and maybe UCLA.
