Sources confirm the NCAA football oversight committee has moved forward a recommendation to allow the 2022 signing class up to 7 additional spots (32).

D1 Council will vote on approval on Oct. 5/6. @RossDellenger first reported.

good deal - we get 7 more 2 or 3 stars a year, and lose out on 7 more 4 and/or 5 star guys

You'll never lose another 4 or 5 star player once you stop recruiting 4 and 5 stars for long enough.

Ektard's recruiting blog today says we're not going to bring anyone in for OVs during the regular season. A few months ago he said they only did 1 OV weekend in the spring because they wanted to save them for the season. Sounds like we're going to sign a class of 9 and fill the rest of the spots through the portal or giving schollies to walk ons. Aggressive!

Hopefully this means Jimmy is stepping down at the end of the season

Jen's budget cuts + Jimmy's complete disinterest in recruiting = tough deal
