I mentioned in a chat group that I thought this was the initial domino in the Demond Williams but was told Chambliss had already announced he would return to Ol’ Miss.
My theory was he expected the waiver and would transfer to LSU with Lane and once that fell through, Lane reached out to Williams shady dad.
