NBA it’s fantastic - call your shot

I tried to watch a quarter of the Fakers/Warriors. 😴
It's just boring. Get rid of the three point line or cap the amount you can take. Make the minimum age 21. That solves most of the problems.
I don't disagree about the problems you identify with your solutions. They'd have to ban the 3 for a generation to reset how kids train and how coaches plan, though. Maybe they could limit 3's to only counting in the final 3 minutes of each quarter or something. I'd say push the line back a foot or more but these guys are hitting 28 footers these days.
I think the real problems are culture- related issues that won't change without a new commissioner. The players don't give a shit about winning or the fans. They only want the money and a social media following for their podcasts.
I hated Stern for what he did to the Sonics, but he was a strong commissioner. Silver is too much of a doormat. He swindled some TV networks though.

Seems the Spurs care - Fox is solid with Victor, no idea who is wearing purple but he’s not Vic

I would venture to say the Luka Davis swap and Fox/who? gif trade is the most interesting thing about the nba after viewing my ESPN app.this weekend.

Imagine hating on beer, video games, and murdering everything in your path on the way to a Finals because you're a future HOF.
Of course people care. It's the biggest story in sports and the 2024-25 NBA season hasn't even begun yet.
The Mavericks are officially cooked for at least a decade+. Batshit crazy move by the new majority owners.

I'm not sure where the net and video game references are coming from, but most people are claiming the Mavs won the trade for the near-term. If they're in win-now mode - which they clearly are - I tend to agree. AD is a beast.
The fact that they quit on Luka should tell you a lot about him. Fat and injured, on top of constant whining. It's hilarious that this trade cost him a chance at the mega contract. Dallas did what New Orleans should've done with Zion two years ago.
NOC in that nobody had made any comment on it here many hours after it happened.

Luka would have been up for a $325 million super max contract. Total financial move.

Plus Cuban is a commie nutcase. TITTT

Are the Mavs in financial trouble? I'm assuming the new owners want to make a return in their investment. Generally speaking, keeping superstars is a good thing in the NBA. Are teams going to start dumping guys when they become eligible for the supermax? If yes, that signals an entirely new era in the league.
