NATO got us into this mess, it's their job to get out of it...

That's my viewpoint. They've slowly added European and former soviet block countries and that is a direct threat to Russia. This is NATOs problem to own, even more specifically, this is largely European NATO members' problem to own. The US absolutely should not be sticking their neck out here. Why are we poking the bear? ( I know, to wag the dog ).

But this is not your ordinary bear. Very dangerous game.

I have a bad feeling about this.

Time to stock up on the TP, meat, gas, and medicines.

Luckily we have Biden and his team of adults in charge. His kickass presser let Russia know they mean business. They're going to sanction....checks notes...people who have already been under or are already on sanctions. That's how you do it.

Unfortunately the good ole' USA sings: "We! are! NA-TO!, dum de dum dum dum dum dum!"

Wasn’t there a Canadian/US oil pipeline that would have solved most oil supply issues with Russia? What ever happened to that?

Honestly, if Canada and the US dedicated 15 years of heavy drilling and Western Europe embargoed all energy purchases from Russia and purchased solely from Canada, the US, and the Middle East, Russia would be as economically impactful as Uganda.

Watching Blinken talk. He will sound credible to the American people who watch the mainstream media, but in reality's he's part of the Biden admin and is fucking this up. Also, he looks like he's been up for 72 hrs straight.

Norway could solve the problem in a heartbeat.

The North Sea reserves are massive.

Should NATO have expanded in the 90s? Maybe not. And perhaps Gorbachev and Yeltsin really were promised it would not, just as the Russians claim.

But it's 2022, Russia is run by a kleptocracy and headed by a thug. Poor mouthing NATO because some long for isolationism would be foolish.
