I don’t know why anyone pretends to be an insider. For some clout with some geeky UW fans? Sometimes the coaches don’t even have a grasp on things.

Seems to me he has inside information (access to coaches), he's just not good at recognizing when the coaches are wrong. Which, unfortunately, seems to be often right now.

Aaron Beach at DM.c was the same way. Good dude, somewhat of a personal fren at one poont. Dude got plenty of info from Romar's staff. But the staff was clueless and Beach never seemed to figure out that the staff saying we were getting someone didn't mean we were getting them.
 
In ACrop's defense the staff didn't seem to have these issues under Pete so it's understandable that he would still trust the coaches since they didn't steer him wrong before.
 
I know this is sour grapes, but when I saw that twitter vid of him running around, I immediately got Clarence Trent vibes. Remember that experiment?

I used to play against Clarence Trent 2-3 times every year from 6th grade until I was a senior in high school. I doubt he ever even played half the game because he fouled out every game. Absolutely no basketball IQ. He did play up a year growing up, but he was still the tallest guy and most athletic guy on the court.

If I posted back then, I would have told you guys he would be a complete bust. I completely forgot he tried to play football.

When I was 14 I got dunked on by 17 year old Clarence in a summer tourney at Lincoln. I ended up on the floor against the matted wall as much laughter and howling filled the gym for several minutes.

A teammate and friend of mine got posterized by him on a put back in 8-9th grade at the People’s Center. The crowd went nuts. Sounds pretty similar.
