What made this visit so big for the 6-foot-6, 300-pound prospect?
"I was beyond happy," Kalepo said of his time at Oregon. "I love the coaches, the players, and the facilities. I love it all."
Kalepo said he was caught off guard with how nice Oregon's campus was and in particular Oregon's staff.
"Touring the campus was nice, and just seeing how much the coaches really wanted the best for the players [I liked that]," Kalepo said what surprised him.
Kalepo spent most of his time with special teams coordinator Raymond Woodie, but he also got time with Mario Cristobal and Joe Salave'a during his 36 hour visit to Eugene.
"I loved it, the coaches and the atmosphere," said Kalepo. "Everything about it [I loved]."
Previously this summer Kalepo went down to USC and landed an offer at the Trojans Rising Stars camp. He told DuckTerritory.com after that USC offer the Trojans were the best visit and a school that will be very difficult to beat.
"Not anymore," said Kelepo. "Do something."
