I fucking hate when people explain away particular examples, but not the pattern. Can you explain every other fucking kid that has signed with Stanford over the past 6 fucking years? Christ.

Maybe if things were just so then the universe would've been different, but they weren't and it isn't. Stanford pulls dudes from everywhere on the OL. Bloomgren is a fucking boss. Strausser fucking shit the bed on almost everyone he ever recruited.

ah, I see the problem here.

I don't disgree with you ... bloomgren is fucking awesome, proof is in the pudding and shit.

This is my theory: Big uglies also like to live the duality of being big dudes who are also smart ... they typically don't like the label of "big dumb guy" ...

So, Stanford is a high end institution. Shaw is well regarded as a coach. Bloomgren is a fucking boss that we all kinda wish would get caught in a sex scandal with farm animals ... When Stanford comes calling, which big ugly wouldn't seriously consider them?

all I was saying is that with that in place, we have to build our brand over a period of time to get the kids we want and keep them out of the hands of Stanford. This is happening ... and it's paying off ... it was just too late for the last mini-gen batch of football players.

I mean, you're seeing that happening in the reverse for our DB production ... kids are now saying shit like "they put 3 db's in the league last NFL draft ..." we keep this up and those guys from Stanford will be complaining "WTF? Why are all the high-end DB recruits wanting to sign with Washington? Fuck those guys! ..."
