Napier is likely getting fired

If Fisch is dumb enough to leave to that dumpster fire after one year, his decision making is so questionable he’d be doing you guys a favor
 
if you believe, like I do, that Fisch wants to be an NFL coach someday I’m not sure Florida is actually a better springboard than Washington. Getting cucked every season by Georgia is where Florida is going to be at for awhile.

He was 33-5 overall, 22-2 in Sun Belt play his last 3 years there. Seemed like more than a solid get for Florida. Mullen was a no brainer hire after his stint at MSU. McIlwain won 10 games at Colorado State the year before he came to Gainsville. He was a no brainer hire. Something is very rotten in the swamp. 4 out of their last 4 on coaches that have failed there.

Mullen got a raw deal. Had 3 good seasons and then let go after a down 4th year

I think Fisch's buyout is $12 million and even more painful for Florida, Napiers' buyout is $26 million. And then they'd have to give Fisch a big raise too.

True words but HOF coaches have a tendency to make the programs they coach great. Don James and Chris Petersen being prime examples at UW. If Fish is a HOF caliber coach, UW will make playoffs and occasionally compete with the blue bloods for hardware. (Hardware, TWILTC trophies, hardware) If he’s a JAG, UW will mire itself into a 6-9 win team, if he’s bad we all know the depths that things can sink to.
