Napier is likely getting fired

0% chance Florida is even looking at Fisch if they fire Napier this year.
This is some battered wife syndrome shit.
I remember when we? said this about Meat
Yeah and?
You're Oregon. Nobody wants to be there more than a few years.

…and?

Can't imagine Fisch leaving after one year. If this were year two, maybe.
What's the list of coaches that just HAD to be back at their alma mater no matter the circumstances?
Cristobol.
Which is why Ducks are in this thread.

so, this seems like an argument that doesn’t really require a lot of energy or effort.

why not first wait to find out if Fisch is worth worrying about before worrying about him?
it’s a little like worrying about whether you’ll lose perspective after making your first billion.

UW is no longer a public university. They're transitioning (trigger warning) to be a football head coach investment fund and business is good with a 12mm buyout last year and another 12 coming this December

They could always bring back Mullen.
I think Fisch's buyout is $12 million and even more painful for Florida, Napiers' buyout is $26 million. And then they'd have to give Fisch a big raise too.

Buyouts don't matter

If Florida fires a coach in year 3 and from their perspective is 0/3 on coaching hires, then they're going to go all in a head coach that makes the CFP this year.
The other point is that the SEC and national media is trying their hardest to give Napier a pass for this year specifically.

I for one will be stoked if Fisch wins enough in this year’s situation to be a candidate for a Top 15 job like Florida. we just beat Weber State. LIPO
