Love them both. Don’t care that they are fighting, I actually like it. Maybe I just like fighters.
 
Daddy threatened to primary him in 2020 when Massie was the only member of house or senate to oppose first covid bill. Both have become more popular since that moment.
 
They work together on a lot of stuff too
2020 you could excuse because of the panic. That bill was passing
I'm not seeing why they don't make a stand now on spending. Why push it more months
Trump says it will be worth it. We'll see
 
Totally agree on spending. DOGE is effective at bringing stuff into the light, but their real value would be in helping to develop a zero based budget. Congress doesn’t want that and apparently most people don’t either.

There’s an angle for a dem to get on Massie’s program on cuts. They won’t, but it could be effective as an anti USAID and elitist working man’s dem.

Or a good way to get primaried. Look only a few of the Congressional seats after gerrymandering are competitive. Most dems are in safe seats with no real republican opposition. Almost none of these could win a primary after supporting a republican budget with actual cuts. Manchin would rather give up his seat than vote against the Make Inflation Greater Act or switch parties.

Correct, it’s primary risky. But if you are a potentially serious senate or beyond candidate someday, this would be a good start. That’s why I said it won’t happen.

Yeah, but every dem just voted for men in women sports and bathrooms. They aren't serious, just delusional. Look at the Tug.
 
I don’t think right now is the time to kill a CR.
I also think this version of Trump has been created by the Democrats, who tried to remove him from office, bankrupt him, imprison him on bullshit charges in front of friendly judges and juries, and ultimately murder him at least twice. Had Biden not been so shitty, Trump wouldn’t have turned his head at the exact moment he needed to for that bullet to miss killing him.
I don’t really care if he is tempestuous at times. The guy gave up a wonderful life in order to try and give others opportunities to better their lives and in this term, to stop what is clearly an out of control and corrupt federal government.
