A random recruit from Tennessee with no family or personal connection to UW is good and will be extensively recruited by regional schools and the usual powerhouses like Alabama and Oklahoma and has zero chance of coming here, a waste of time and resources that should be spent on a recruit they actually have a chance at.

If he had a limited offer list there is at least the chance they found an actual diamond in the rough they could maybe get.

If he is actually good with that offer list, there is zero chance.

If he sucks, we're full and they could have just got the same guy on the west coast for cheaper.
