Top 4 ahead of Alabama ... a little surprised but like that they are staying ahead of Alabama - means that the Big 12 is getting some credit.

Really hoping for an Alabama loss ... that should put TCU firmly in the Top Four then ...

Also wouldn't be shocked to see TCU pass up Florida State in the near future if FSU continues to play lackluster football ... they are dropping like a rock at this point.

I like it that Alabama is #5. Should keep them pissed off enough to win out. Not sure how FSU gets jumped by Oregon as they have yet to lose to an unranked team...

Baylor SHOULD win out ... they have 2 home games left (Okie Lite and KState) and a game at Jerry World against Tech. The only possible loss is KState IF they can turn around and run the football. I'd be shocked if they didn't give a better effort at Baylor than they did at TCU.

TCU's profile will look better than Baylor because they are getting the pick-up of destroying Minnesota in the non-conference schedule (better than any win Baylor had) and that Baylor's loss at West Virginia is going to hurt. Really the only thing that Baylor has to hang their hat on is winning at home by 3 against TCU (in a game that TCU gifted them) and winning by a bigger margin on the road against an Oklahoma team that is falling apart.

In the end, TCU looks like the better team to me.

If Alabama beats Miss State and then both teams win out, both belong. The Pac 12 champ belongs, and FSU belongs if they win out.

People actually believe that Baylor and TCU are good teams?

I can't believe whOregon leapfrogged Florida St. They won all their games. Wtf?

The committee liked Oregon's three wins over top 25 teams, two of which were on the road. FSU has two wins over top 25 teams. Not justifying, only giving their reasons.

Any team that doesn't play in a conference championship and has the same record as a conference champion should be left out by default. Play in a conference championship or GTFO. The only exception should be for an undefeated team. A second SEC team deserves to get in over a Baylor or TCU that doesn't play a conference title game.

I wonder if this week's rankings will give some extra impetus to Famous Jameis while he's raping his next victim.

Not if that second team has two losses

Miss. State's OOC is a joke (Herbfag chose to only pick on Baylor's). It's the Memphis School for the Deaf and Dumb x 4. There's no way they should ever get in with two losses over a one loss team.

Conference championships are overrated. The XII plays nine games.

They can play 9 and have a championship game like the Pac 12.

They're not allowed to have a championship game with 10 teams.

It's nice to know we have so many fans here who are new since the long forgotten days of the Pac-10

I know that is why the Big 12 doent have one. I remember when they did. I didn't know there was an iron clad rule about it needing 12 teams. The Big 12 still sucks and TCU or Baylor will get plungered if they make it.
