Could Gregory be any worse at evaluating talent at his own positron group?

This is the guy who started Manu and Wellington over Ede, and now Sirmon over Carson. The personnel mishaps we've suffered through are impressive.

Everybody gets worse the longer at UW

Yes but I think Wellington sucked before. We know manu sucked before and is likely still shitty at whatever he’s doing.

For starters you have to stockpile more than one or two promising recruits at the position group. Health and development are not really all that predictable. It's not ok to settle for one Heimuli surrounded by a bunch of guys yiu stole from the Mtn west or from Arizona and Colorado.

The one I'm still curious about is Fowler. He had all the traits of a solid prospect coming in. It's natural to just assume he is a typical walkon who isn't good enough, but given the piss poor roster management with this staff I'm now wondering if he could be the next guy to get on the field and surprise.

Keep in mind Welly had to play LB because he couldn’t recruit the position well enough. Welly should have been a RB

The last bit there really deflates the significance of the achievement

It’s a hell of an accomplishment for a freshman to get player of the week. That’s really all the comp needs to be.

I agree. It's awesome. But adding the whole "since 2 years ago" to the end makes it seem less impressive than it is

It’s his first start and I am impressed. Our linebacker room is so mismanaged.

Before becoming the full tim starter, I thought Wellington looked really good.

Do not care about awards. The rest of the team should watch Bruener's tape and learn how to tackle.

He's probably the best tackler at UW since Budda.
