My thoughts on the Alamo Bowl MVP Award

It was lazy voting to give it to Penix.

Really, the award should have gone to either the offensive line, defensive line or perhaps J-Mac.

You won't just say it should have gone to Taulapapa. It sucks for Penix. Kwiatkowski in basically a road game was the worst thing he could have drawn maybe other than Georgia. Kwiat had the athletes to force UW to just dink and dunk and hand off for 3-7 yards every play and begged them to throw deep and they couldn't resist. Not even negadooging it was not a great game for him

Fittingly though, his best throw of the night was the strike to Odunze for a long TD where the Texas DB wisely just grabbed Odunze's shoulder pads and took the the flag but the refs somehow didn't flag it.

It was the worst reffing Ive ever seen and the only thing that prevented Texas from getting curb stomped

Yep. He fought for extra yardage and fell forward all night. That was critical for moving there chains while passing faltered.

He basically was a poor man's Chris Polk.

It sucks but OL will never win it and DL pretty much you have to have a Vita Vea 2017 Apple Cup performance to win it.

Taulapapa and Trice being a part of the post game presser pretty much said it all.
