With me showing up to Byrd SECU Stadium this weekend to watch our DAWGS play (the 4th quarter), I realized just how random the stadiums I've seen the Huskies play in are, besides Husky Stadium of course.
Qualcomm/Jack Murphy Stadium (RIP) for the 99 Holiday Bowl
Michigan Stadium
SHI Stadium (Rutgers, who knows what it was named in 18?)
The Georgia Dome

NRG Stadium (fuck you DeBoer)

No Pac-12 road games or games in whatever the Seahawks call their stadium. No Rose, Fiesta or west coast bowl games. 6 games which were the only one we've ever played at the facility and 2 stadiums which don't exist anymore.
I guess this is the east coast lyfe as a DWAG fan. CSB

Every UW road game I've attended has been a loss.
  • Autzen once. One of the Sark-era "it was close at halftime games." I had to refresh myself on the year and found some real gems for quotes from that one:
  • NRG for the natty. Shitty stadium and a shitty game in a shitty city.
  • Martin Stadium. Loss to Cuog. I recall Craig Chambers having another big game after he broke out bs Cal and thinking he was the next star WR. Thanks, Ty!
  • Tempe to watch Sark get blown out. This was also the day when I found out from an actual media source that USC was going to hire Sarkisian (which happened maybe 6 weeks later).

  • USC / Coliseum - Multiple. I was barking for sark. Mostly thanking kiffin for not running the ball. Saw a lot of losses there.

  • Rose Bowl - 0-3 (one to Ohio State - should have given MMFG the ball more) (also phantom holding call on touchdown throw to String?)
  • Cal '16 (John Ross is gonna score)
  • ASU - witnessed possibly the last Sun Devil voodoo game in '22
  • CU '17 - Shitty raining Boulder, but pick 6 and great touchdown catch by one of the super skinny WR of the period
  • Rutgers '17 - Got into it a little with a Long Island goon about wearing my dawg hat in the 9/11 museum. I Warriors to Orphans him and kept wearing my hat.
  • Indiana '24 - One of maybe 81 Dwags there.
  • BYU '97 - Rashaan Sheehee for Heisman

bleachanus and wilder Nrg/Houston takes are 💯% accurate.

Hated the stadium, hated Houston, and debonner can play in traffic for making my $5k ginger and me experience rather forgettable.

Only thing I'll say about Houston is that my family has a place on the Gulf about an hour South of NRG so it made the trip very doable for a number of reasons …
That said, every statement about Houston on the whole is 100% accurate

State College white out. Great Atmosphere. Worst game I've ever attended. (and, yes, I was a 2008 season ticket holder.)

WSU 3x, Oregon 3x, Stanford, USC 3x, UCLA 2x, Notre Dame, LSU, Illinois (Soldier Field), Michigan, NRG, and Indiana.
Mix of good and bad memories, probably the best on the road is being in the Coliseum for each of the last three games we beat USC (2010, 2015, and 2023). But I'm poison in Eugene. Favorite home games are 2009 against USC and 2023 UO. Should have gone to the last P12 championship or Sugar Bowl instead of Houston.

Slum Devil Stadium for the Cactus Motel 666 Copper Bowl versus Okie State (it's usually at Chase Field, I honestly don't know or care what corporate sponsor it has now). Coldest game I've ever attended. It officially was in the 40s, but it was really in the high 30s and yes, I am used to the 60s that time of year.
