I'm still going to Pullman to plant the flag next year. If they have a billboard in Colfax or something we'll put up a "The Purple Shithole" on it.

I'd rather listen to Edward Scissorhands solve a differential equation on a fucking chalkboard than suffer through all of the Seattle sports personalities, including Softy and limp Dick Fain.
And this is coming from someone who listens to quooks on 1080 talk about how Oregon is undefeated with a bunch of gritty underdawg grellow-bleeding players that just wanted to come to Eugene to get "developed".

They can't do it financially but the move for the Cougs is to back out of the Apple Cup. Claim forever champions (even though they're 34-76) and never give the trophy back. As obnoxious as the Cougs have been I think this is all fucked and part of why college football is falling apart.

They'll never be able to quit the game financially even if they want to. If UW does actually start to blow them out you'll just see quotes about how they can't compete with UW's money etc and the fan sentiment will be that the Lumen Apple Cup was the last real one when the truth was 2023 was really the final Apple Cup and it was pretty perfect for the series.
