I hope he hovers around 8 or 9 wins, with an occasional 10 winner, decent bowl winning % too. I hope he never has a losing season at SC. I hope he lays off the twinkies and lays off the cheap waitress candy. I even hope he gets a signature win every other season or so, even if it comes at our expense.

I hope these things with all my heart.

Wishing for less is straight stoopidity.

First, 5 to 7 sounds just fine to me. We're not going to live forever. Don't be greedy.

Second, I would say that a 10 win season restarts the clock.

Do you really think that formula is limited to 7 years? I'm not sure I agree with you. Most people know Pete was lighting in a bottle. You're lucky to have that kind of run once in 30 years - even at SC.

Since it doesn't ever get them in the national title hunt, I don't think SC boosters will settle for 8-9 wins a year as the status quo. But maybe they will. Either way, it will be interesting.
 
I hope he gets more ass. I hope he wins 7 games consistently. I wish this with all my heart. Wishing for less is straight stupidity.
 
Sark needs to be on ESPN way more... promoting dance contests and luring recruits with Compton rappers who think he's fa shizzle yo... let us enjoy the tower of babel construction. I seriously might even switch to whatever shitty provider has that obscure Pac12 netjoke just so i can watch USC.

I hear ya loud and clear. But my hope is that by hoping for moderate success for him, we are hoping for a good fucking for SC for a good fucking long time.

He is, no doubt, your proverbial dumb fucking donkey. But I'd rather he keep just passing the class and, therefore, avoid being kicked out of school so as to keep the curve within my intellectual reach - such as it is.

It's really just like Florida and the SEC. Even Bear Bryant, who coached well before Florida was ever worth a shit, used to worry about that program waking up. In SEC cuntry, I can tell you that everyone is quite happy with Mumford at their helm and they all hope quietly that he wins a few more games next year so he can stick around and keep Florida from being what they can easily be: a conference bully.

That all said, yeah, I can see the appeal of watching fatty crash and burn in his own back yard even if it means giving SC another shot at getting it right.
