Since it's long been known that Mack Brown was DAO at Texas, I'd bet Mora's agent has had several discussions with Texas, and that's why he turned down UW. I don't have any sources, I just made this shit up, so my sources are better than Doogman's.
 
Mora has been about 3 steps ahead of most Athletic Departments this offseason, which put him about a football field ahead of Woodward during their negotiations.
 
This actually wouldn't surprise me. But my guess is Mora is using this to come out and say, "I am staying at UCLA, I have turned down the mighty Longhorns. Come to UCLA ye recruits!"
