He stressed about how important it is for a QB to have a great rushing attack to open things up for him. We are about to see some fundamentally sound football for once I think.
 
When he described what he is looking for in a QB with accuracy and playing smart I thought it's a shame Price couldn't play for him. Price no doubt in my mind would have been a Rose Bowl QB under coach Pete.
 
If you had one of the best young minds in college football you'd realize that the pass sets up the run.

Or the pass sets up the bubble screen.

Or the pass - fuck it, just pass, it's cool.
 
One of the things I liked is when Huge asked him what type of offense he will run. His reply was that it's based on the personnel and not the coach's ego or a set system. One of the (many) things that bothered me about Sark was the fact that he had absolutely zero offensive identity. Except excessive bubble screens to 290lb tight ends.
