My favorite Doog myth (deserves own thread)

Myth: You can't judge a coach until x years (insert four, five, seven, or ten as necessary to support your Doog argument needs).

Everyone (even the Doogs) were able to judge these two coaches after two years.

Coach A:
Inherited a program that had three fired coaches in the previous five seasons.
Results in the previous five seasons before he arrived were 6-6, 5-5-1, 3-8, 4-8, 5-6.
Coach A's results in his first two seasons: 7-5, 13-0

Coach B:
Inherited a program that had two fired coaches in the previous five seasons.
Results in the previous five seasons before he arrived were 6-6, 7-5, 11-1, 8-4, 7-6.
Coach A's results in his first two seasons: 6-6, 1-10

Summary:
You can usually tell what you have in your coach after two seasons. After three seasons, you absolutely know what you have. After four seasons, if you have a coach who is within one game of .500 every year, you have a mediocre coach.
